Overview / Responsibilities

Wood (trading locally as JSC WOOD KSS) is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. (KZ passport holders only)
  • Will serve as a proposal manager for small and medium projects
  • Must be able to develop scopes of work in conjunction with the client, write project execution plans, coordinate the development of CTRs, and develop with planning group planning for the projects
  • Has responsibility for schedules, organising, coordination, and control of medium sized engineering projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company
  • Will hold and minute weekly progress meetings with discipline engineers and ensure that any required actions are taken and closed out in a timely manner
  • Has responsibility for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction
  • Coordination of Lead Engineers
  • Ensure Budget and Schedule adherence along with robust implementation of Project Change Control


Skills / Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Engineering

Minimum of 5 years related experience

Bachelor's degree, Association for Project management (APM) qualification preferred

Engineering & project management experience

Requires good spreadsheet abilities, Leadership and negotiating skills
