Ensure the technical excellence of Turbines products within TPO, supporting all the phases of the selection of a product and its options, from the technical proposal to the customer till the remittance of each order. Her / His main roles will range from the optimization of the project budget and resources availability, to the release and the management of the relevant production codes through suitable configuration tools (for example, TCE, EDM and RuleStream).
As entrepreneur of the Cultural Transformation, leveraging Company Culture and Values, She / He will be responsible for the efficiency of the external collaborators supporting us in the project execution and management. Through "secondment" process, She / He will act as reference person and coordinator for all their activities and tasks. Secondment role will ensure that He / She will act as leader for supplier's technical growth and responsibilities. Leveraging own attitudes and soft skills, She / He will collaborate to optimize responsibilities, resources duplication, succession plans leveraging Company core values of diversity and inclusion.
She / He will be responsible to collaborate with Turbines Platform, to define, investigate and solve industrialization gaps, proposing standardization ideas and cost-out improvements, supporting requestors and configuration managers through PCB to help reaching product target costs, updated and profitable configuration options and cycle times. Working with other Engineering Departments (Systems Integration Teams, Packaging, etc.) She / He will be responsible to keep integrated and updated all interfaces, documentation, manuals and configurations related to the engine product.
Act embedding leadership skills in coordinating resolution of major issues and roadblocks related to product cost target, industrialization and standardization, regardless the eventual main responsible functional source (i.e. not just related to engineering area, but including also other functions, such as sourcing and manufacturing), driving coordination with other Product Line Engineers, Configuration Managers, Turbine Platform Leaders, Systems Engineering, Design, Technology and all other involved teams in order ensure a continuous product development to maintain competitive and efficient all relevant engine configurations.
Work closely with PSO, TPO and other organizations to ensure flawless execution on Projects, focusing especially on productivity, efficiency, and on-time delivery (OTD) metrics. Coordinate colleagues, external resources and Design Engineering Offices to screen and incorporate, through PCB, lesson learned from Supply Chain, NCR and SDR, commissioning and relevant SR, leading continuous improvement. Assure that containment actions and preventive actions coming from RCA/NCA applicable to the product will be properly implemented and correctly introduced as modification of the existing standard.
Work in close contact with Commercials and Applications to actively take part to all ITO and OTR tasks related to offers, business releases and orders ensuring that what has been proposed / selected / sold is in line with existing configurations and options. Keep updated all Turbines standard bill of material and structures, ensuring that each of them will be properly filled and maintained updated coordinating design engineering departments and external suppliers for a flawless execution in both ISPO and VDR.
