The Programme Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the project management environment for the assigned programme based upon Standards and the IS Strategic Roadmap. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the assigned programme, on time and on budget including stakeholder management. They will organise and coordinate projects, provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture and ensures functional alignment company standards, processes and operating procedures.The Programme Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the project management environment for the assigned programme based upon Company Standards and the IS Strategic Roadmap. The Programme Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the assigned programme, on time and on budget including stakeholder management. They will organise and coordinate projects, provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture and ensures functional alignment with the company standards, processes and operating procedures.

Areas of Responsibility:
 
• Plans, directs, and co-ordinates the team's activities to manage and implement multiple projects and insure integration of multiple scopes of work from initiation to final operational stage.

• Lead Project Managers and direct the project teams in determining business requirements and translating these requirements into a coherent schedule ensuring all milestones are met.

• Monitors defined project controls and reporting procedures related to the overall scope of work, ensuring the delivery from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the programme plan and programme governance arrangements.

• Direct status review meetings.

• Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules and resolve technical/operational issues.

• Advise and influence client and Project Managers ensuring Project Management methodologies are adhered to

• Monitor Work scope and deliverable KPI's.

• Manages the programme's budget on behalf of the leadership team, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses.

• Creates communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged amongst key stakeholders and meets with stakeholders as required to provide status updates and review risks and issues.

• Advises senior management on Project Management capability and risk.

• Maintains awareness on emerging technologies and Project Management techniques.
