Take ownership for the safety and support of our equipment

As a Pressure Control Equipment Supervisor, you will lead a team providing maintenance services to Well head Pressure Control Equipment. Partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You'll mentor your team in their own career development and growth to ensure high-performance and collaboration.

You will be responsible for:
  • Scheduling pre-job and post-job maintenance, annual maintenance, and re-certification of Baker Hughes owned equipment as well as third party equipment
  • Tracking and identifying the status of equipment
  • Documenting testing and inspections parameters and archives the activities in Instrument History Files (SAP)
  • Pre-Job planning along with OPS coordinator which requires knowledge of various equipment configurations for various ranges of expected wellhead pressures.
  • Identification of accessory equipment, its uses, and configurations.
  • Resolution of issues in pre-job preparations at the base and wellsite.
  • Provides requirements for Rental Equipment vendors as well as customer supplied equipment
  • Identifies hazardous operations and emergency response procedures
  • Following all manufacturing and Baker Hughes standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Read and interpret engineering schematics
  • Assemble/Disassemble parts using handheld power tools
  • Initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required
  • Follow-up with procurement for spares order and keep track of inventory
  • Working within time constraints; understand the sense of urgency; handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Interfacing with manufacturing engineering to ensure product quality
  • Performing misc. duties as assigned by the Cell or Operations Leader


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Through knowledge of wireline pressure control equipment
  • Preferred to have a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Have a minimum of 7 years' experience - 5 years hands on and 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Have good Computer skills (Microsoft + SAP)
  • Be flexible to work overtime when needed (including weekends)
