Our client is looking for an experienced QA / QC Manager for a permanent position, rotation available, located in Ghana.

 

ROLE

  • The QA QC Manager is responsible for Quality assurance and Quality control in company Production in compliance with Company Quality system procedures to give all clients a full satisfaction by reaching a zero-defect production.
  • The QA QC Manager will be responsible of his own organization to check and review documentations, monitoring qualifications, production controls, issuing and collecting any necessary documents to be given as final documentation or for quality purpose.
  • The QA QC manager will liaise will internal and external partners and work with them with a continuous improvement mind.
  • Monitor the quality assurance and quality control of this workshop for documentation, dimensional, welding , coating quality on the day-to-day activity of any production.
  • The QA QC Manager may be assigned on other projects on request of company Management.
  • The QA QC Manager will work closely with a Production Manager on his tasks.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the Quality Control functions/activities of all assigned project or its parts, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of all Quality Records.
  • Supports the Production manager or Project managers in dealing with Clients for all Quality matters.
  • Assesses the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on the site.
  • Allocates Quality Control personnel to the various areas of site activity.
  • Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.
  • Evaluates the qualifications of welders and Non-Destructive Test-NDT technicians about the activities assigned.
  • Evaluates the qualifications of inspection personnel.
  • Lead and coordinate his teams and foster on a training plan to improve their skills.
  • Supports the construction roles in the management and control of subcontractors.
  • Supports and participate to all the internal/external audits.
  • Supervises the correct equipment calibration management activities.
  • Supports the Welding & Non-Destructive Test-NDT qualification activities.
  • Cooperates to issue the Welding Procedures (WP).
  • Supervises all Quality Officers in the management of non-conformities.
  • Supervises inspection of defect renewal and welding.
  • Conduct and organize QMS Internal/External audit and ensure close out of all
  • Inspection and Audit Non conformities
  • Coordinate Test Pack preparation and Final Handover documentation activities to ensure smooth handover.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements within relevant legal jurisdictions of operation under Ghana Operations.
  • Fosters relationships with customers, third parties and/or other relevant parties that will enhance the reputation of the company in relevant markets in Ghana and outside Ghana.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must speak English .
  • Must have experience in QA/QC in project management and Workshop production, preferably for oil & gas
  • Must have experience in working in Africa.
  • Must have relevant technical qualifications in Engineering
  • Must have a welding Institute diploma
  • Must be in good health to work in a workshop.
