Sales Account Manager

Baker Hughes Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) supports the full lifecycle of customers' asset from pre-commissioning to decommissioning. We help to reduce future corrosion, improve efficiency and maximize throughput. Our engineered solutions for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance shutdowns include specialized services for the oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and other process industries.

Partner with the best

To develop and execute the sales strategy for the Inline Pipeline Inspection business across Canada including driving short and long-term orders, revenue and margin growth.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering work in compliance with all applicable HSE regulations and employee safety practices, and ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance.
  • Understanding current and potential customer needs and requirements for providing safe, timely and accurate pipeline inspection solutions within a defined customer base.
  • Developing and implement strategies for account, tenders, and strategic deals while delivering sales orders as per the operating plan.
  • Establishing new contacts and generating new business while managing existing business with clients through regular communication and meeting.
  • Providing voice of customer feedback and coaching outside of sales organization to increase and drive the external focus of the PPS organization.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in business or engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Expertise in Oil & Gas or Industrial Services Industry including Pipeline integrity knowledge acquired as an operator, consultant, or engineer
  • Proven written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
  • Demonstrable experience of professional sales skills including segment planning, prospecting, opportunity qualification, vision creation, value positioning, negotiating and closing
  • Ability to travel up to 30% throughout Canada
