Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Integrated Project Delivery Systems Lead to join our Project Engineering Systems and Information Management team. The job holder will be responsible for the new integrated project delivery solutions implementation in Projects BU European offices (Milan and Madrid). He will support Project Management and Project Control, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction functions providing governance and guidance to the adoption and best usage of " Connected Build " solutions

Initially he will mainly focus on AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) system deployment, managing the reshaping of related work processes, implementing change management and training; he will ensure the best usage in terms of data integrity, governance and quality from design and materials procurement, to construction, advanced work packaging, commissioning and completions.

He will manage the implementation of EcoSys, supporting the Project Control function in the transition from the legacy systems.

The role is an integral part of the Project Information Systems team. The role will be known internally as Integrated Project Delivery Systems Lead (IDS Lead).

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of "Connected Build" solutions portfolio adopted in Milan office from initiation to implementation and usage on projects as part of the Future Fit initiative
  • The IDS Lead will partner with Project Delivery's effort to implement tools, processes and methodologies, in conjunction with the Future Fit Program, for effective delivery of projects (AVEVA ERM/CRM, EcoSys, Primavera P6 and any other future project execution system)
  • Manage the Interfaces with the Wood Integrated Delivery Systems Transition team for AVEVA ERM and Ecosys implementation in Milan office.
  • End to End Project management responsibility for implementing and supporting the new AVEVA ERM system in liaison with Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, Project Management and Project Control functions
  • Deploy the ERM System in tandem with the other discipline stakeholders out of Milan office
  • End to End Project management responsibility for implementation of EcoSys in Milan office, supporting the project control function in the transition from the legacy systems
  • Design and develop integration with other Engineering and Construction systems.
  • Supporting, problem solving and training super - users and end users
  • Design, develop and setup specific project reports for the functions
  • Supporting Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction and Project Control with the testing and upgrading of the systems in the portfolio
  • Regional focal point for systems management, administration, and interface with other Wood Group entities. Responsible for development and continuous improvement of the systems in the portfolio and professional input into future business and global project work
  • Update and manage the changes to the related work processes, coordinating the update of quality system documents
  • Produce quality and data integrity reports, manage issues and resolution
  • Compliance to all applicable law and legislation relating to health, safety, and environment


Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven working experience with Project execution systems with special focus on Materials and Supply Chain Management and Logistics Systems, Project and Document Control systems such as Scheduling and progress measurement tools, Primavera P6, Project Costing and Forecasting systems
  • Proven work experience with CAD Automation
  • Experience of heritage material management system (AMUSE)
  • Proven Work Experience (or certification) as a project manager with extensive experience in Software development and implementation projects
  • Good Knowledge of Server & Desktop hardware / Operating systems, IT Infrastructure etc
  • Experience of AVEVA ERM and EcoSys is a plus
  • Demonstrable ability to coordinate and manage teams of Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction and Project Control personnel
  • Enterprise Resource Planning experience, preferably AVEVA / SAP
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Excellent analytical and problem - solving skills
  • Fluent in English and Italian languages
  • Experience of working in the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Mining or Sustainable Industries and knowledge of EPC project execution would be beneficial
