We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Strategic Studies & Market Analysis Division (SS&MA) in Saudi Aramco's Crude Oil Sales & Marketing Department (COSMD).
SS&MA is responsible for providing support to the business through Market Analysis, Strategy, Planning, Performance Monitoring & Reporting and Data Management.
You will be responsible for the market development of Arabian crude oil and for the negotiation of crude oil sales contract terms within a particular area of assignment. This includes but is not limited to analyzing the global oil market and providing solutions that serve the department and the company.
You will be required to perform the following:
Identify crude sales opportunities and develop markets for Arabian crude oil.
Contact potential buyers, develop, and negotiate price, delivery, and quality and quantity terms for term, spot, or incremental sales for Arabian crude oil.
Maintain relationships with existing clients, handle contract negotiations, and discuss necessary cutbacks in contracted deliveries to meet production quota requirements or possible changes in client nominations.
Monitor crude pricing, relative crude values and other market trends in the area of assignment.
Coordinate with the regional offices to ensure that customer crude delivery requirements are met.
As the successful candidate you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Engineering from a recognized and approved program. A relevant advanced degree in economics, energy, or MBA may also be an advantage.
You should have a minimum of ten years of experience in oil marketing, sales, trading, refinery optimization, or supply planning. Supervisory, or managerial experience, as well as, familiarity with refinery linear programming or investment financial modeling are also desirable.
