Owing to continued growth and high demand for our services, we are now seeking a Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Consultant to join our expanding group based in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and project management support to a global range of multi-disciplinary renewable energy and green hydrogen projects
  • Interface with a team of specialists to progress and deliver projects through feasibility, pre-construction and construction phases
  • Support engagement with all aspects of the hydrogen chain, including equipment suppliers and end users
  • Support progressing projects in accordance with the pre-defined budgets, deadlines and quality requirements
  • Contribute to the development of technical schedules related to project development
  • Contribute to Invitation to Tender, tender evaluation and contract negotiation processes
  • Support interfacing with contractors, monitor and report on contractor's progress and compliance with their contracts
  • Contribute to business development activities and assist in securing new projects and opportunities for the company
  • Support drafting robust proposals for submission to our clients
  • Ensure health and safety considerations are integral to the delivery of projects and project tasks


Skills / Qualifications

  • A good degree in a relevant engineering, technical or scientific discipline
  • High levels of problem solving ability, initiative, thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Ability to prepare and write high quality concise documents
  • Project management, organisational, multi-tasking and communication skills
  • A bility to manage own time effectively and prioritise own work load to allow timely delivery of tasks
