We are seeking an Innovation Catalyst to join the Power Systems Renewable department (PSRD) under our New & Renewable Energy Technology Division (N&RTD).
PSRD actively introduces and promotes cost effective, reliable and efficient renewable energy solutions within Saudi Aramco facilities in remote power, grid connected systems and large-scale deployment. We maintain renewable assets within Saudi Aramco by providing a robust monitor and control program.
N &RTD will lead PS technology deployment and automation among other Saudi Aramco admin areas to reach full reliability optimization, cost reduction and value creation utilizing the transformation of power systems business from conventional to smart, promote innovation culture and develop digital workforce.
Your primary role will be to perform the required support in managing the technology deployment and automation to optimize the assets relevant reliability of the power systems. You will maintain and manage PS innovation program to develop innovative ideas that will promote efficiency and optimize performance.
As the successful candidate you will required to perform the following:
Establish and maintain an innovation program for Power Systems (PS) Admin Area.
Articulate and share innovative programs and opportunities proactively with PS departments and Admin Area.
Prepare, lead and contribute to internal brainstorm sessions for collaborative concept generation and proposals.
Collaborate across PS departments to ensure all campaigns are well developed.
Assist each PS department in developing patentable ideas that will generate revenue to the Company.
Interact with other technology and innovation organizations globally to benchmark their activities and maintain a high-quality program.
Organize international forums to import the knowledge and best practices to maintain a high standard in innovation.
Participate in the creation and prioritization of IDEAS Center design sprints.
Conduct design thinking sessions & facilitates labs.
Ensure projects track through the various innovation stages.
Lead projects as assigned by the Director of Performance Excellence and EVP-Chief of IT and Innovation.
Participate in building a creative, open and productive culture at the Blessing IDEAS Center and will work closely with the innovation champions team to ensure successful projects are completed.
You must hold a Bachelor's in Business, Communications, Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, Innovation, Sociology, Psychology, Industrial Design, or a like degree. A Master degree is preferred.
You will have a minimum of 10 years facilitation and education experience with multiple innovation practices, including design thinking and design sprints.
Computer Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud suite are preferable.
Proven experience as a design innovation educator. Possibilities include creating courses and supporting materials or teaching using existing frameworks.
Experience assessing projects and planning for how to best approach challenges.
Design thinking training certificate is preferred.
