Baker Hughes has an opening for Industrial engineer supporting our facility in Houston, TX. An Industrial Engineer designs and implements processes that efficiently make products or provide services. The goal of an Industrial Engineer is to eliminate wastefulness in production processes and make sure systems make the best-integrated use of workers, machines, materials, information, and energy.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

• Maintain master work order router/traveler by working with production team closely, reviewing and revising the information/instructions in the router/traveler.

• Implement ECO (Engineering Change Order); Ensure the accuracy of BOM (Bill of Materials) and material status in the system. Coordinating with buyer and planner for ECN execution.

• Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.

• Work with production team and manufacturing engineering team to identify cost out opportunity, drive the cost reduction execution.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college, in engineering required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experiences in working as an engineering role

• Minimum of 1 years of experiences in working as an Industrial engineer role

• Minimum of 1 years of experiences in process improvement and lean manufacturing

• Ability to manage multiple project across multiple work streams with minimal supervision

• Ability to communicate with cross-function team effectively

Desired Characteristics:

• Lean six sigma green belt certified or higher

• Capable to work in a fast pace working environment

• Excellent analytical, verbal, presentation and writing skills.

• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Equivalent.

• Experience utilizing SAP

• Excellent project management skills

• Able to use AutoCad
