Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for providing planned and reactive maintenance support across a range of cardboard manufacturing equipment. Working safely at all times you will ensure uptime and reliability targets are met whilst working with OEM / industry body advised best practices and  internal systems.

Task & Responsibilities

•To keep yourself and others safe at all times.
•Review safety requirements and maintain compliance, taking the appropriate corrective action.
•Working to PM schedules ensuring minimum disruption to production.
•Create a culture of continuous improvement with the involvement of all team members.
•Investigate maintenance problems and provide corrective action and advice.
•To comply with any reasonable request that is within your capabilities whilst maintaining safety at all times  

Skills/Experience

•Suitably qualified - ONC or equivalent
•Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience
•Excellent mechanical aptitude.
•Familiarity with steam and compressed air systems.
•Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
•Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
•A self-motivated individual with an organised approach and strong effective decision making and communication skills
•Microsoft office - Beginners level.
