As an Intern, you will be:
  • Receiving coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset
  • Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
  • Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
  • Applying Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

To be successful in this role you Should:
  • Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Business Management and have at least 1 year left of school .
  • Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.7 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
  • Be fluent in oral and written English
  • Have the legal right to work without restrictions or have company sponsorship in the country you have applied
  • Be prepared to enroll yourself with different activities and projects, being owner of them and having an active voice to be part of the team and the company in a large scale

Role Summary/Purpose

The Production Planner Intern provides support and assistance to a work group to meet assigned objectives and gain experience in a Material Supply Chain Planning organization and develop personal and professional skills/competences. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions and apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduling functions involved with managing work orders, coordinating products and materials movement through the manufacturing processes to completion and on time shipments.
  • Assist planner to create work orders in a daily basis and submit documents for approval if necessary
  • Support planner to develop production schedule.
  • Analyze product demand and material supply to determine impact to schedule and capacity.
  • Design & elaborate internal scorecard and dashboard templates to track key metrics.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) 5th to 7th Semester of any Engineering bachelor's degree.
  • Proficient in Excel & Power Point.
  • Fluid English
