As an Account Representative, you will be providing a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical delivery systems. You will take ownership of sites and ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner while supporting our customer's needs.

As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Manage all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contract
  • Provide on-site (client office) production operations and process engineering support
  • Act as a primary point of contact for all technical, commercial, and operational queries
  • Provide chemical optimization and process troubleshooting support to the production operations group
  • Proactive monitoring and optimization of chemical treatment programs
  • Organize routine production chemical reviews and product selection activities
  • Report chemical performance and environmental compliance KPI's to asset operator
  • Chemical Budget preparation and stewardship
  • Preparation of technical reviews and proposals
  • Active participation of technical reviews and proposals
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes' HSE policies, legal compliance requirements and values

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, relevant industry experience
  • Minimum 3-7 years related oil field experience
  • In-depth knowledge of process optimization and production chemistry
  • Work outside in the elements 20% of the time
  • Computer knowledge (Microsoft office applications)
  • Proven ability to interact well with others, communicate effectively, and develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Be able to show a good working knowledge of Microsoft office

  • Previous Contract/Account Management experience
  • 7 years directly related chemical experience in Conventional and Thermal (SAGD) properties
  • Technical Project Management Experience
