As a Tool Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Using creative and pragmatic problem solving strategies
  • Participating in the up and down off-shore rigging of equipment
  • Testing, calibration and validation of equipment (DS, CWI, and WS tools)
  • Ongoing and regular communication with with onshore project co-ordinators
  • Focusing on safe practice and tool handling, and in-house safety training
  • Connecting tools, troubleshooting, inventory management of the tools, spares, and maintenance of the OFS equipment.

 

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have an eye for detail, hands on attitude and solution driven mindset
  • Qualification or certification in electronic or mechanical engineering
  • Be comfortable being offshore and on-site at fixed intervals (3 weeks)
  • Be enthusiastic and comfortable working alone and as part of a larger team
  • Be comfortable with tool and equipment handling for DS, CWI, and WS
