NES Fircroft are looking for a Lead Planning and Reporting Engineer to join a major operator in Paris supporting a multi billion dollar project in the Middle-East.

As Lead Planning and Reporting Engineer your responsibilities will include:
  • Seeking optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project and to focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives.
  • Fostering an innovative and engaging environment for maturing solutions while backing up decisions
  • Promoting lean and agile leadership, to participate actively in the areas of engagement, meetings and decision process
  • To lead all the planning, risk and progress controls activities associated with the establishment and management of all Projects Schedules and individual contract Work Time Schedules.
  • Preparing Planning & Progress Measurement procedures and ensure that they are put in place and applied properly based on Company Referential.
  • Developing and updating the Project Master Plan & Schedule.
  • Ensuring the consolidation of planning and progress for all Projects.
  • Controlling the review of Planning and planning documents (procedures, etc...) submitted by CONTRACTORS
  • Analysing with architect and Project Manager the potential delays on planning, verify that corrective actions are proposed and implemented as and when required.
  • Preparing Planning consolidation documents and presentation for internal and external meeting
  • Managing the risks associated to each Project Planning. Ensure the implementation of the agreed mitigation actions. Update the Projects risks (and opportunities) register. Issue the Top 10 risks.
  • Interacting with Affiliate planning team for the global affiliate planning consolidation and participate to the 24 months monthly meeting.
  • Managing the Planning team during project execution.
  • Leading all reporting activities for the projects (including Close-out report and REX) during project execution
  • To be responsible for planned POB related to activities on site.
  • Monitoring contractors claimed progress and consolidate project S-curve.
  • Executing critical path analysis and report accordingly.
  • Supporting the PCM in all project control activities that he may require.

Experience / Qualifications needed:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Professional Experience: 15 years minimum
  • Experience within project: a project and minor works brownfield experience in an onshore plant or a Total energies affiliate is very important for the position
  • Languages: bilingual or at least very familiar with English and French languages
