In this role, you will own the "wing-to-wing" contracting process for the Valves Channel Partners within a broad geographical territory delivering a streamlined customer experience for both internal and external customers while ensuring adherence to the strictest quality & standards. You will also own and support other key global channel onboarding and management related processes.

This role will report to the VALVES Global Channels leader but will also receive significant guidance from the Global Channels Sr. Operations Manager, and will require working closely with our Channel Partners, front-lines of the organization (sales), and all enabling functions (legal, tax, finance) as needed to complete a thorough, world-class underwriting review of each contracting event and related processes.

As a Lead Channel Specialist , you will be responsible for:
  • Being a member of the Valves Global Channels team you will manage and enforce the wing-to-wing contract process related to channel partners within a broad geographical territory
  • Performing contract drafting and review, negotiation support & execution of new or renewal agreements, contract administration and contract management of the existing portfolio.
  • Developing deep understanding of the Channel onboarding process, including contracts T&Cs and tools, to ensure appropriate compliance and risk mitigation prior to release of a contract to a Channel Partner.
  • Ensuring all required documentation sets available for closure hand-off product meetings, and chair hand-off meeting, if required. Notify various stakeholders of changes to Channel Contracts & update records as needed.
  • Ensuring Co-ownership of the Contracts Dashboard & Channel Portal Maintenance to ensure contract related metrics, user databases, and portal content are updated regularly.
  • Supporting Channel Sr. Business Partners, Channel Enablement & Regional Sales teams in key Channel Partner (CP) initiatives with a focus on improving: Onboarding cycle time, Contract execution time etc.
  • Working on Channel Partner commissions' process " support Regional Sales and Finance teams in the wing-to-wing commission payment process, including documentation, reporting and validation to achieve a accurate commission process
  • Working on ad hoc projects and act as back-up for other Global Channel Specialist(s), as needed.
  • Supporting internal & external audits as required


Fuel your passion ,To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have bachelors from an accredited university or college with at least 5 yrs of commercial, compliance, underwriting, experience and dealing effectively with customers and/or channel partners
  • Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
  • Have ability to work across time zones in order to support regional activity and flexibility to travel
  • Have prior experience working with channel partners is strongly preferred
  • Have Commercial/underwriting experience in preparing complex transactions
  • Have prior experience in project level proposal development, contract negotiation and execution is strongly preferred
  • Have Knowledge of legal aspects and implications of contracts, terms and conditions, negotiation, etc. to allow constructing contracts with minimizing risk
