Our client is looking for a Medical Technical Trainer - Medical Breathing Apparatus for a permanent position, can be based in Blyth or Aberdeen.




  • Accredited technical training to internal & external customers on assigned devices / care area / product line.
  • Specialised service support on assigned devices / care area / product line to internal & external customers.
  • To meet & exceed the expectations of all customers whether internal or external

  • To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing responsive and high-quality service training for company products.
  • To promote company training, products and services.
  • Provides courses (prepare and deliver training) & documentation for technical training both internal & external at required locations & customer sites
  • Support technical corrective actions for own devices / care area / product line
  • Feedback quality situation and issues on specific devices to Quality Department
  • Provides support to sales for offers / quotations / tenders
  • Responsible for problem solving within competency or escalation as appropriate
  • Maintains communication & documentation relevant to the quality system & process landscape
  • Remain updated on new market developments within related Industry
  • Supports other departments with regard to technical aspects
  • Involvement in management of incident reporting
  • Internal training - products, updates on existing devices
  • Complete offsite assessments as necessary to approve facilities
  • Feedback on product usage in the UK
  • Resolution of sales query to installed base
  • Assist in interview process as required to support responsible manager
  • Assist in creation of new training products & services

  • Degree level or Higher education certificate in related subject
  • Possess or be willing to attend a recognised teacher training program such as City & Guilds course 7302 or 6303 PTLLS & 6304 CTLLS, Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the company and other market place products is desirable
  • Significant related experience in appropriate industry sector
  • Ideally a high level technical & practical knowledge a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Desired teaching experience within related discipline or market sector
  • Customer focus with a positive attitude towards solving customer problems
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers and present a positive image of the company
  • Excellent inter-personal skills from an instructional perspective
  • Full driving license.
  • Undergo a standard CRB check
  • Fluent English
  • Expertise in use of software applications such as MS Office
  • Organisational skills
