Job Summary:

Facility Planner is an engineering web application to design and plan Oil & Gas process facilities. Facilities are the chemical processing plants that treat hydrocarbons coming from the reservoir, to enable the export of oil and gas products. Costing and designing facilities rely on industry standards, engineering design rules to meet operational conditions and export specifications, and Data. Historical data can help on taking informed decisions for facilities on multiple areas, including costing, scheduling, equipment choices and many more.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The intern would be responsible for investigating and implementing new data driven solutions for oil and gas facilities. The successful candidate would gain exposure to cloud development, data driven solutions and ML, and agile practices whilst being embedded in the development team. They would gain exposure to a wide range of technologies on both front and back ends in a live commercial environment.

Qualification:

Penultimate or final year student, studying towards Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.

Competencies:

Required skills:
  • Strong programming background

Experience in one of the following would be advantageous:
  • Full-stack web development
  • Data science
