An opportunity is available to join an Oil and Gas exploration and production company in the role of Non Operated Joint Venture (NOJV) Asset Lead, based in Melbourne.

The role will have responsibility for managing the Company's interests in non operated oil and gas production assets to support management decision making, and contributing to the overall technical knowledge and experience of the Company.

The role will have a wide range of technical and operational accountabilities, including but not limited to;

  • Asset management of assigned production or exploration assets including;
    • Interaction with Operator's and partner's operations and technical teams
    • Undertake operational and technical reviews to support decision making
    • Internal and external reporting
    • Manage data and information from project operators and partners
    • Represent the Company as their technical representative in JV meetings
    • Review budgets, AFEs and cash calls in conjunction with the finance team
    • Support annual reserves assessment process
    • New venture opportunity screening

As a suitable candidate for this role you will have;

  • Tertiary qualification in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production
  • Prior experience of working for an operator (or NOJV entity)
  • An understanding of the full life cycle of oil and gas assets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
