The production is expected to double in 12 months' time. As part of our ramp up plan, production optimization projects to improve the productivity by reducing the changeover time between each operation of manufacturing are to be deployed.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

You will be part of the RSP team, and report to the Production Manager.

Using the lean manufacturing methodology in order to analyse the changeover operations, you will be in charge of implementing systems such as SMED/ JIT to convert as many changeover steps as possible to "external" (performed while the equipment is running), and to simplify and streamline the remaining steps.

  • Smaller Lot Sizes: faster changeovers enable more frequent product changes
  • Smoother Startups: standardized changeover processes improve consistency and quality

Special skills
  • Mechanical background with lean manufacturing knowledge (SMED, JIT, Kaizen, Kanban, TPM, 5S)
