Bringing Technology to life

You will be involved in the development of subsea electric actuators and systems requirements, specifications and design. You will be part of electrical/electronic hardware and system integration tests. You will be involved in all phases, from customer discussions through to development, delivery and aftermarket.

As a Lead Software Engineer , you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing engineering budgetary estimates and input to project plans during bidding phase.
  • Understanding the project requirements and translating them into software requirements specification.
  • Preparing software architecture and design documentation that will be utilized as a basis for coding.
  • Facilitating and leading the software planning, execution and reporting activities in the projects by closely cooperating with developers and project managers.
  • Being single point of contact towards project and product managers, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with SW development processes, and acting as a mentor to the team. Be part of product and SW testing, as well as troubleshooting.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have BSc. or MSc. in Software engineering, Electrical, Cybernetics, Mechatronics, Electronics and Telecommunication. Equivalent degree with the required qualification can be also considered.
  • Have proven records of embedded SW development.
  • Have keen interest to manage SW project and deal with people.
  • Have the ability to design, document, plan, and execute software development.
  • Be proficient in C and Python programming language.
  • Have experience with AVR / ARM or any RISC microcontrollers. Experience with 8/16 bits and 32 bits architectures will be added advantage.
  • Have the ability to read and understand electronics design/schematics.
  • Be fluent in verbal and written English.
