Take ownership for leading complex projects

As a Systems Engineer, you are working in a multi-disciplinary project team within our product development department and will work closely together with the respective project managers. You are responsible for the requirements- and systems analysis, elaboration of use cases and test cases, as well as development of architecture and specifications for software- and mechatronic systems.

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Deriving customer needs in collaboration with Product Line management and other stakeholders
  • Collecting, elaborating, and managing service, system and component requirements
  • Analyzing requirements and their impact on system architecture and design
  • Identifying and defining user journeys and deriving detailed user stories
  • Elaborating high-level system architecture (functional and logical), use cases, and test cases
  • Driving communication among engineering disciplines and end users
  • Supporting system integration and system test activities
  • Promoting systems engineering and establishing best practices


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you need:
  • Professional experience in systems engineering and requirements engineering in a mechatronic environment, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industry
  • Applied knowledge of systems modelling languages, e.g. SysML, UML as well as practical experience with requirements and MBSE tools such as Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, Doors, Polarion
  • A strong interdisciplinary technical interest and an understanding of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and software development
  • To be fluent in English and have good presentation and writing skills
  • To be self-contained, self-motivated, and have a structured approach to work, preferably with some experience in project management
  • Preferably, prior experience in software- or function development using model-based design, e.g. with Matlab/Simulink
  • Preferably, experience with test methods, procedures, and tools
