The Senior Digital Commercial Manager leads Software as a Service commercial operations activities for the Americas region. This role will cover commercial support, as well as contracts, risk management, and negotiations.

As a Sr Sales Manager - Proposals, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the initial design and implementation of a new commercial process tailored on SaaS product offering
  • Being accountable for the overall commercial proposal strategy for the Americas deals that include SaaS product offering
  • Owning the proposal development process, including proposal quality and automation/productivity
  • Driving commercial compliance, including commercial process and contracts risk management
  • Analyzing/Evaluating terms and conditions and lead contract negotiations, engaging with customers to close deals
  • Demonstrating expertise in terms and conditions and commercial policies/guidelines as well as the rationale behind them
  • Exhibiting great expertise in the development of risk mitigation strategies that consider identified triggers in RFP's and customer T&C's while meeting business objectives
  • Recognizing contract essentials and escalate issues for appropriate resolution
  • Developing negotiation strategy, anticipating, and removing obstacles to closure
  • Working collaboratively and cross-functionally, providing leadership and strategic guidance in a matrix environment to drive optimal proposal results and minimize risk through coordination with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and Compliance
  • Teaming with sales managers to develop new opportunities and define commercial strategy
  • Collaborating across business boundaries to enable joint opportunities between legacy and joint product offering
  • Managing the commercial risk process


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years of sales/commercial experience
  • 3 years of commercial operations experience with great preference for contract risk management and contract negotiations
  • Great communication skills at all business levels
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support customer meetings and negotiations
