Role Summary

The Manufacturing Gas Turbine Quality leader will be accountable for supervising and coordinating all the cross functional activities to meet high quality std in Gas Turbine products.

He/She will lead PQE organization to identify actions, projects and strategic plan to improve Quality performances across all mfg cells.

He/She will drive collaboration with Cell leaders , Plant leaders, Gas Turbine Engineering team and Procurement to enhance quality execution and identify opportunities for process simplification and improvements.

He/She will assure that MFG GT quality requirements and targets are well aligned with both Equipment & Project and Service needs and expectations.

He/She will work to support constant auditing activities on internal mfg and farm-out ones; he/she assures that farm-out activities follow a specific qualification process, from qualification to surveillance.

He/She will support all MFG activities to drive Gas Turbine products activities as a flow production.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy and projects to reduce financial impacts due to quality issue on jobs, targeting specific YoY reduction of CoQ overall and CoQ per hour.
  • Assure a robust plan of actions to reduce defect numerosity in the shop as well as in farm-out
  • Assess operating rhythm for MFG GT Quality team NCA and RCA completion
  • Assure robust plan and effectiveness of Corrective Actions / Preventive Actions completion
  • Strongly support on Improvement & Quality Sessions work
  • Develop actions and projects to constantly reduce Escaping Defects
  • Escalation meetings - interface with Cell leaders, COE leaders, Engineering and Procurement for critical process
  • Drive team members growth both on technical subjects as well as on cultural transformation

  • Fluent in English
