The BH Strategic Account team as a whole provides direction and innovation within the broader Sales & Commercial organization of Baker Hughes and strategy for all product Company interaction at enterprise level. The Strategic Account team has a cross product company and cross-regional overview of the business and reports to EVP level.

Champion Energy Transition moving forward

You will be in a customer facing role responsible for defining different commercial models and integrating BH solutions for new energy areas to create business opportunities across O&G and other industries. You will contribute towards Baker Hughes Energy Forward mission through commercial, and technology partnerships with our Global Key accounts.

Working as Decarbonization Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

 

  • Driving vital activities including strategizing, prospecting, and partnership planning and engagement with key O&G, non-O&G partners.
  • Contributing to growth and profitable market share expansion through direct involvement with activities such as business development, opportunity identification, development of tendering strategies and contract negotiation.
  • Applying a structured business approach and commercial methodology for capturing business opportunities with key customers, energy industry leaders.
  • Proposing comprehensive solutions to complex business and technical energy transition problems leveraging inputs from BH technical teams, market research, and partner engagements.
  • Developing Customer/partners intimacy through relationships with clients and industrial stakeholders
  • Partnering with teams across the Baker Hughes organization in Product Company, Region, Digital and Enterprise Sales to take advantage of common opportunities, experience and best practices.
  • Clarifying customers' business needs and objectives, near and long term, to identify value creating opportunities and demonstrate the benefit from partnering with BH to deliver results.
  • Identifying market direction on global and local basis, drive spirited benchmarking across value chain and engage teams horizontally to create market strategy.

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

 

  • Have significant experience in the Energy sector with proven track record of solution selling in a complex technical environment.
  • Have experience with cement, iron and steel, EPC or mining companies.
  • Show considerable interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to multi-level and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Have an understanding of financial tools used by customers to conduct business.
  • Be able to analyse market data and present findings in a succinct manner
  • Have flexibility to travel up to 30-40% of the time
  • Have very good oral and written English language skills.
  • Experience with a BH leadership program is a plus point
