This role is working for our Geoservices team which is part of Schlumberger's Well Construction division. Geoservices offers evaluation of hydrocarbon reservoirs and optimisation of field exploration, development, and production.

What you will be doing

You will be part of the Geoservices team, responsible for the delivery and quality of reports.
  • Supervise the collecting and processing of cuttings samples, from the planned lagged depths and intervals
  • Managing of and creating evaluation logs.
  • Analysis and interpretation of the drilled data
  • Communicating to the Client representatives any information regarding primary well control
  • Checking well integrity during well site operations as deduced from the data.
  • Monitor all the well parameters, maintaining Geoservices sensors to detect the well conditions and maintaining the gas detection equipment.

About you
  • Minimum BSc in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Sciences or Applied Sciences
  • Unlimited Australian Work Rights - we are not offering sponsorship
  • Must have minimum 3 years field and offshore experience as a Field Data Analyst
  • Comprehensive knowledge of drilling equipment and techniques and drill string composition
  • Understand drilling fluids and hydraulics of the drilling fluids
  • Understand drilling parameters, their acquisition and treatment
  • Experience in the calibration and troubleshooting of sensors
