What you will be doing

You will be part of the Cameron Services team using your leadership to ensure customer valves and equipment are serviced, maintained, repaired, and tested in line with product specifications and meet maintenance schedules. In addition, the role promotes best fitting and testing practice, ensures a safe working environment as well as mentoring and developing the careers of the workshop technicians

Duties:
  • Lead valve and actuator service/repairs/maintenance activities in the workshop
  • Lead hydrostatic, pneumatic, function testing and certification for Valves, actuators and vessels.
  • Maintain fleet of hydraulic and pneumatic and other equipment including flange facers and hydraulic torque and tension equipment
  • Assist in the management, planning, resourcing, and scheduling of production work within workshop area
  • Deliver prestart toolbox talks to with workshop technicians
  • Lead, promote and actively contribute to Safety and Quality improvement.
  • Assist in the professional development of the workshop technicians
  • Oversee individual projects and production work to ensure product delivery times and quality assurance parameters are achieved.
  • Assist and actively participate in maintaining Company accreditation of AS4801, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC 17025


Requirements:
  • Reside in locally in Darwin or willing to relocate in Darwin, NT
  • Have the full right to live and work in Australia including offshore
  • Holds a Mechanical Trade certificate or equivalent Diploma
  • Has a minimum of 6 years' experience as fitter machinist (or in the mechanical industry)
  • CERT IV Training and Assessment (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a supervisor or team leader role
  • Experience within Oil & Gas Industry (Preferred)
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills
