Our Oilfield Services (OFS) business provides intelligent connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our Sales team works in partnership with our business partners to build loyalty and develop sales growth. We take responsibility for the business' success by building trusted relationships and understanding our partners.

Partner with the best

As the Early Engagement Leader, you will identify and screen new sales opportunities, creating a pipeline 18-24 months ahead of time.

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting Key Accounts and Regional Sales Managers to identify, qualify, pursue and capture priority opportunities
  • Leveraging Baker Hughes Product Companies provision of technologies, services and digital solutions.
  • Differentiating in the market through value delivery that enhances Baker Hughes position within the opportunity.
  • Establishing strategic priorities leveraging Baker Hughes global position and local capabilities.
  • Supporting OFS in laying string commercial foundation, improving commercial intensity and excellence
  • Developing cross-product line OFS sales strategy and growth targets for OFS Early Engagement opportunities
  • Identifying new technology requirements and engage with product lines and build into global sales strategy.
  • Supporting OFS Pricing and analytics team by providing input into strategic pricing.
  • Build, improve and promote best practices across PL sales techniques
  • Leverage relationships with key customers and accounts as references for future opportunities.

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline (e.g. Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing) or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Strong Technical Knowledge with Commercial and contractual skills
  • 5 Years previous experience in Oil & Gas front end customer engagement, large project tendering and team management
  • Relevant experience in sales, operations or commercial in Oil Field Services
  • Ability to influence and lead cross functional teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent networking and team working skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, self-motivation
