Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to work with our Asset Management Group.

Position Summary

  • Provide project coordination activities:
    • Preparation of e-PIFs for set-up of new projects for Project Managers
    • Assist Project Managers with accounting needs
    • Coordination and booking of project team travel
    • Coordinate HSSE requirements
    • Track project activities using SharePoint
    • Assist project teams to meet deadlines for deliverables
  • Perform duties of a Technical Writer:
    • Assist project managers with writing proposals
    • Assist project managers with generating reports
    • Assist project managers with writing project descriptions
    • Assist employees with preparing resumes for proposals

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • This position will be located at the Wood office in Kennesaw, GA
  • Exercise acute attention to detail in the exchange of data with multiple stakeholders
  • Coordinate with others to prioritize duties in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand a client's needs, requirements, and deadlines
  • Implement highly accurate database maintenance utilizing MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint, internal developed software, or other various tools
  • Perform clerical typing duties to generate and record documents
  • Work efficiently to meet project milestones
  • Must work well with team members, have a positive customer service attitude, and possess excellent verbal communication skills
  • Perform related duties as necessary to support the needs of the unit and/or business
  • Prepare, coordinate and produce qualifications packages, proposals and presentation materials
  • Technical editing and formatting for client deliverables
  • Upkeep firm collateral such as project write-ups, brochures and resumes
  • Maintain digital archive of project information and imagery, and various marketing logs and databases
  • Assist our team with providing marketing support to all Georgia offices


Skills / Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of passing a background check
  • College graduates with a background in and desire to work in the engineering, architecture, construction industry or
  • 2-5 years, at minimum, of experience within the A/E/C industry
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft text with a targeted purpose
  • Superior editing skills
  • Technical aptitude with experience in data management (i.e. safeguarding sensitive data)
  • Aptitude to learn new processes and software applications
  • Skill to perform various duties with a high degree of accuracy
  • Previous document control experience is essential to this role
  • Strong organizational skills and have the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work occasional overtime as needed to meet critical deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint - SharePoint knowledge is required and proficiency is needed including site administrator capabilities - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop) Proficiency in Deltek Vision is a plus
  • Time management skills and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Nitro
  • A commitment to Health, Safety, Security & Environment through compliance with all policies and procedures and completion of all required training
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
