NEXUS Control Business Team designs and builds industry leading, custom designed controls systems and applications for gas and steam turbines, generators and compressors. We help our customers to control and monitor industrial equipment in the Industrial sector and Energy sector. As Nexus Cyber Services Tech Lead you are responsible for coordinating Cyber related New Product Development (NPI) & services readiness, developing and maintaining a services certification and training program, and supporting field services mobilization for First of Kind installs, customer CIR, and FE mentoring of next generation talent.

As a Nexus Cyber Services Tech Lead, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Developing and maintaining a Certification & Qualification program based on instructional design and skill development. This includes creating certification and training content with a network of subject matter experts from engineering, services, & commercial teams.
  • Managing Nexus Cyber NPI programs as the services representative for field service readiness. This includes working with the NPI engineering team to help create service manuals, help with lab validation testing, and conduct field verification of final installed product or service. In addition, support lessons learned and services feedback incorporated for product continuous improvement.
  • Participating in field services mobilization for First of a kind installation for new NPI, critical Customer Issue Resolution (CIR), and mentoring next generation Field Services personnel.
  • Supporting Services global communication for product specific notifications. Maintaining a network of L1-L3 Cyber FE experts and serve as hub of knowledge and information reading product topics.
  • Leveraging experience with industrial Cyber Security Standards as they apply to OT environments. Understanding and ability to navigate customer requirements for Cyber security standards in NIST, NERC, ISO, & IEC.
  • Travel required: 50% Region Field Support, for Region Cyber support, First of Kind installations/commissioning, and FE mentoring of next generation talent.
  • Leadership Presence, Effective Communication Skills, conflict resolution & collaborative influence to reach strategic goals.

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven work experience)
  • Have proven experience with cyber & industry controls background (Pwr Gen, O&G Pipeline, DCS applications, PLC, Industrial, etc.), min 2 years field services experience.
  • Demonstrate fluent English skills, both verbal and written. Additional language skills are desired
  • Have proven technical experience with cyber in the power generation industry.
  • Show Field Engineering Program (FEP) or other Field Services installation and commissioning experience
  • Show leadership, Black Belt, or Group Facilitation experience
  • Have DCS knowledge, Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Aero, Compressor, controls experience
  • Demonstrate excellent communication & organizational skills and high Proficiency with computer tools (MS office suite)
  • Show strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have the ambition to improve current performance
  • Demonstrate good technically communication skills and be business acumen to drive overall solutions/rigor to meet customer needs
