Position Summary

Oceaneering Asset Integrity delivers an array of specialized services within Integrity and Inspection Management to customers in Scandinavia as well as internationally. The company is now positioning itself for the future and invest for further growth. We are therefore looking for a new Sales Manager for Scandinavia who will an important resource for the company on this journey. We are looking for you who have experience in sales and want new challenges in an international and forward-looking company. You are highly motivated and is passionate about sales and good results.

The Sales Manager is the company's most important resource in serving customers in general and in terms of outreach to sales, safeguarding customer needs and customer follow-up in particular. The right person will be responsible for building, leading and developing a team of sales employees, as well as leading the sales function in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating sales activities for assigned business unit to maximize sales volume and drive targeted profitable business segment growth in Scandinavia. The Sales Manager will be responsible for gathering and reporting out accurate and relevant data and deliver all related goals and business needs. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of delivering what is required at various levels

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for profitable growth and together with the management team prioritize relevant markets, and be responsible for identifying customers, contacting relevant customers, and conducting sales/contract input. This means that the sales manager must be active in out-reach sales and customer follow-up. The Sales Manager shall also be involved in the preparation of larger offers.
  • Lead the sales team in setting and achieving sales order intake and growth targets.
  • The Sales Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that the customer database located in the company's CRM and ERP systems is updated at all times.
  • The Sales Manager has overall responsibility for serving new and existing customers and shall know and coordinate all activity and communication related to these customers.
  • The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and carrying out marketing and sales activities.
  • The Sales Manager shall be out in the market meeting client and will be account manager for selected customers.

Qualifications
  • Marketing or Business Administration degree at BSC/MSC level
  • Technical degree in addition is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and verbal
  • Leadership experience managing sales team.

Of personal characteristics, it is essential to be practical and communicative and one must have a documented sales profile. Good ability to access data-driven analysis and reporting is an advantage. The same applies to the use of these data in follow-up and feedback to own employees and other within the organization. The person concerned must be results-oriented and have good market and business understanding and think forward-looking. We have started on the journey, where the Sales Manager will have to contribute. As a leader, the person must be strong and empowered, be balanced and have the ability to immersion and empathy. The person concerned must be consistently constructive in their behavior and have the ability to see the potential in and get the best out of their employees.
