The Senior Directional Measurements Engineer role is focused on providing engineering and technical guidance and direction relating to Reuter-Stokes Downhole Technology Product Line. This role offers a unique mix of technical and commercial challenges and responsibilities with the opportunity for a direct customer interface while crafting solutions specific to the customer's application requirements.

As a Senior Directional Measurements Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Specifying, configuring and/or designing the Reuter-Stokes orientation module product offering to meet customer's requirements
  • Supporting new equipment /upgrades from purchase through installation
  • Developing and maintaining manufacturing, assembly, and testing specifications and procedures
  • Participating in NPI (New Product Introduction) programs consisting of design, development, design reviews and manufacturing implementation
  • Reviewing the customer's technical specifications, including formal RFQ's (Request for Quote), working closely with Product Line Leadership and the sales team to prepare detailed proposals for competitive solutions
  • Supporting product line team with technical presentations and demonstrations both remotely and at customer sites
  • Interfacing with customers, suppliers, vendors and internal cross-functional teams as necessary, to ensure product quality and performance through the product lifecycle


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Have a minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in an engineering capacity and/or field engineer
  • Have extensive experience with Oil & Gas downhole drilling applications
  • Be able to define and communicate interrelationships between component design and system performance
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills
  • Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Have proven expertise in failure analysis
  • Have a direct customer contact experience
