Project Engineer for E&I and Document Control -
Duration: 6-9 Month Contract
Start Date:October/ Immediate
Working Week: Full time 40+ hours (E&I + Document Control)
A global industry leading manufacturer, focusing on the food, beverage, and scent sectors. Having over 50 sites to focus on production, in total 150+ locations in 50 countries.
To be responsible for the complete Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering of the project, from budget estimation through design phases. Also, to be able to complete aspects of document control when not on site.
Duties / Responsibilities -
·To ensure that all Electrical and Instrumentation designs are appropriate to the process, the utilities and the production building, including:
•Power distribution and availability;
•Application of local electric standards, consistent with site standards and preferred suppliers
•Energy efficiency features, reducing maintenance cost
•Area classification for flammable hazard area, risk analysis
•Consistent interfacing with automation
· Active participation in design of the electricity network and instrumentation for the project
·Ensure EHS and legislative compliance regarding all electrical equipment
·Study and Analyse the proposals delivered by consultant and/or supplier
·maintain the submittals, maintain the as-builts and coordinate between the GC, the engineering firm, and Employer
·Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial IT, from recognized organization or institution is a plus
·Expert in application of IEC-Ex standards (Flammable products handling)
·Proficient in written English, strong communication skills. Good commend of oral English is a must
·To step quickly in the project in order to understand the general functioning as well as its difficulties
·More than 5 years related working experience in chemical or pharma industries,
·Demonstrated experience of minimum 3 years in similar project management, preferably in a multi-national company
·Knowledge of GMP standards
