You will prepare proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Contribute to the operational plan of own department.

As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the project handover, start-up, Contract analysis and preparation of Project Contract summary and add the contractual risk to project risk register.

• Assuming responsibility for all project contractual activities from Hand Over from commercial until all relevant contractual obligations are completed, and all relevant contractual issues are resolved / settled i.e. end to end seamless obligation.

• Identification of Customer / Consortium and other third-party obligations and development and implementation.

• Establishment and implementation of project specific contractual procedures, particularly regarding claims, variation orders, correspondences and notifications.

• Management of Customer Variation Requests / Orders.

• Liaise with Project Planning Manager / Project Manager to ensure Contract Program and appropriate schedules for subcontracts are produced and maintained, to support Project claim strategy.

• Supporting project risk and opportunity identification, analysis and implementation of mitigation and realization plan.

• Preservation of Baker Hughes's rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract. Ensure proper notices are given in line with contract requirements. Management of claims to/from customers and consortium partners. Support the management of claims to/from Contractors and Suppliers as required.

• Advising appropriate recovery from third parties within the provisions of the contract.

• Supporting and guide Project team on general contractual issues. Clarification of contractual/legal queries, if required by referring to Legal.

• Providing Contract Management support as required in the event of a (potential) dispute.

• Undertaking any other contractual/commercial tasks as instructed/requested by Project leadership /IWS Director and/or Contract Management leader.

• Developing proposals; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; help with competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.

• Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice.

• Contributing to Prices and conditions to have a certain degree of granularity. Works on the basis of predefined contracts price frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from prices and conditions.

• Handling targeted clients. Expected to define customer approach autonomously.

• Leading a department of large personnel costs. Handles Low - Medium - region size, stable region, established market presence.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bachelor's and technical degree completed or coursi (Quantity Surveying and Legal education will be an advantage)

• Experience in large complex capital projects

• Understanding of Contract formation, contract governing Laws, Alternative Dispute Resolution methods

• Technical understanding of oil fields working

• Experience of high-level negotiations

• Strong communication and writing skills in Portuguese and English.

• Understanding of project risks and risk management

• Influencing skills, Intercultural skills, Analytical skills

• Show customer service-orientation mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
