Curriculum Developer/Instructional designer

Roles & Responsibilities:

The candidate's primary roles will be:

  • Under the direction of the assigned unit Supervisor and a Sr. PD&E Analyst, the candidate will provide professional consultation and expertise in training programs development and evaluation.
  • Carry out Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), develop eLearning and conventional technical courses for professional, job skills, and OJT programs.
  • Testing and evaluation of Company-wide technical training programs and provide curriculum development support functions for proponent organizations.
  • Remain current with innovative training technology where appropriate such as Smart Learning Environment (SLE) and Virtual Reality (VR).
  • Research, analyze and write studies, reports and proposals relating to training development and evaluation programs.
  • Deputize for the Group Leader in his/her absence.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to corporate level management.

Requirements:

Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor Degree in one of the following disciplines: Education/Instructional Design, Engineering or Information Technology and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in instructional design.

Industrial College Diploma in a relevant technical discipline and at least 8 years of work experience in training development is acceptable.

All candidates must be computer literate, comfortable with MS Office and ideally be expert in eLearning development using Articulate Storyline 360. Knowledge of Apple's iBook Author or Pages would be a plus.

Candidates must have excellent command of oral and written English.
