Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking for a P&O Advisor for Milan office. The role provides a variety of generalist HR services necessary for the employee life cycle including assignment, motivation, training and development of qualified employees for their area of the business

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Provision of advice and support to key stakeholders on P&O policies, procedures, guidelines and employment legislation
  • Act as a focal point for all stakeholders regarding any issues relating to conditions of employment, salary, benefits and employee relations
  • Gather training needs, identify and organize relevant courses
  • Conduct payroll investigations, manage overpayments/underpayments in line with the requirements of applicable processes
  • Support to Global Mobility advisors regarding local requirements in compliance with European legislation
  • Undertake office and site visits (on a business trip basis) if required
  • Support and assist all P&O projects
  • Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
  • Investigates and advises both management and employees on personnel matters, preparing briefing papers as required
  • Collect and manipulate data sets and analyse trends and arising issues
  • Supervises the preparation of supporting paperwork and subsequent filing


Skills / Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in HR related or business management qualification - preferred
  • Previous experience in an HR environment (3 / 5 years)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Italian mother tongue
  • Fluent in English and in German
