Collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams

You will be reporting to the SPS Regional Quality Leader (APACI), the PQM is responsible for ensuring effective application of the Baker Hughes Quality Management System in the project environment to ensure that customer requirements are met.

As a Quality Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Quality on all project matters and has an operational reporting line to the Project Director.
  • Quality management of the manifold and structure fabrication on-site at our nominated contractor in W.A.
  • Project adherence to Project Quality Management Plan
  • Adherence to Inspection and Test Plans / Inspection Management Plan & Audit schedule
  • Interfacing between customer, Baker Hughes and supply chain for all project quality matters and maintaining quality KPI's
  • Inspection Management budget compliance, with on time delivery of quality documentation (e.g. ITP's, MRB's, Inspection Reports, Progress Reports etc.)
  • Facilitating customer issue resolution within required timescales and coordinating mechanical completion & Dispatch Dossier activities
  • Monitoring & reporting on Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and champion Defect Free Days within the project

To be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Have appropriate tertiary level qualification in Engineering or Quality Management
  • Have Quality auditor training & qualification
  • Have unrestricted authorization to work in Australia
  • Have Energy Technology - Subsea experience
  • Have Manufacturing Quality experience
