Job Title: Advisor - Global Technical Services

Responsibilities include: Serving as engineering subject matter expert and provides application expertise and any special technical data to Business Development, Application Engineering, Training, External Customers and Operations to support product and service applications globally; mentoring less experienced personnel; revising, using, and referring users to appropriate Technical Content of Product / Services web pages on Halworld; reviewing content for accuracy and creating and approving revisions as needed; responsible for responding to questions submitted to the Knowledge Base system and developing relevant articles to publish; reviewing responses and articles of less experience personnel; responsible for all formal communication for situations involving: Cautions and or warnings, design/product/service changes, Required Field Action, Interim procedures and reference information using a Technology Bulletin; responsible for the maintenance of Operational Manuals; reviewing communication drafted by less experienced personnel; incorporating Reliability, HSE, and Quality standards into job activities.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering or related field and 4 years of work experience in job offered or 4 years of related experience in business development.

Position also requires:

  • 3 years of experience in/with acid stimulation and acid fracturing treatment design for carbonate reservoirs and naturally fractured carbonate reservoirs
  • 2 years of experience in/with acid stimulation and hydraulic fracturing treatment design for sandstone reservoirs.
  • 1 years of experience in/with mature fields stimulation solutions using bull-heading and Coiled-tubing techniques for sandstone reservoirs.
  • 2 years of experience in/with reservoir simulation knowledge and history matching, including Key reservoir / fluid characterization properties such as porosity, permeability, saturation, wettability, capillary pressure, and PVT
  • 4 years of experience in/with unwanted fluid control solutions (gas/water), including problem identification/diagnostics and technology selection to help reduce unwanted fluid production.
  • 4 years of experience in/with technical support of well operations, including all aspects of well interventions; acid stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, sand control pumping operations, conformance and application of state-of-the-art technologies and ensuring safe operations according to industry HSE standards.
