Position Description:
Plans, executes and leads planning and performance management (P&PM) analytical activities under the broad guidance of senior SABIC Affairs & Integration Department staff, particularly in resolving complex, cross-functional, non-routine and/or design issues.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline. Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.

Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance.

Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning and performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides analytical findings and recommendations relating to regular P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.

Conducts special P&PM-related studies such as the development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes and workflows, and information system-related changes in coordination with commercial and technical internal subject matter expert groups (Fuels, Chemicals, Strategy, R&D) to ensure group alignment on initiatives and optimization.

Authors business consultant and industry analysis proposals and manage contract submissions and approval tracking. Acts as a primary contact for contractors, consultants and vendor representatives.

Provides supervision, coordination and/or facilitation in the execution of regular and special tasks such as the preparation, review and presentation of Management Committee briefs by other SABIC Affairs & Integration Department personnel, as well as mentorship on P&PM analytical practice.
