Responsibilities

The Application Engineer drives the business relationship between Weatherford and the customer though his/her technical expertise, selling ability and communication skills.

Promotes Weatherford in front of our clients. Attend and participate in sales, ops and BD meetings.

Prepares technical proposals, sales quotations, tender responses, provides technical support to clients, makes calculations. Carries out frequent client visits and presentations. Promote and introduce new technology into the market.

Ensures that client's requests are fulfilled in a safe, timely and efficient manner, conforming to both Weatherford's standards and customer's specifications.

May need to help with operations on last man out bases by going to workshop or the rig, and he/she needs to understand how workshop and rig operations are carried out.

Helps QA/QC and operational personnel with documentation preparation, review and approval.

This position is to help streamline communication between the LHS, CEM, other product lines and support functions such as accounting, financing, procurement, logistics, QHSSE and other Weatherford departments.

The other main aim of this position will be obtaining approvals for processing order to Manufacturing, tracking order status at the stage of delivery and transfer to the customers, control of movement and preparation of documentation for the transfer of materials and fixed assets between warehouses in 1C. Monitoring the timely submission of invoices and material manifests, help with participation in the biddings / tenders and other external interactions that require a quick response of the Product line.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years related experience. Lower-Upper Completion (including Liner Hangers, Cementing Products)
  • Engineering degree. Preferred degree within Petroleum-, Mechanical- or Industrial Engineering
  • English level: upper-intermediate
  • Good product knowledge
  • Basic 1C, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills
  • Self-motivator, self-starter
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must be able to work closely with fellow employees
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Multi-tasking ability
