Our diverse and global team ensures that our customers have the products they need to perform effectively and safely. Our team ensures production enhancement and chemical services for our upstream customers so that they can function efficiently and perform at the highest level. We provide technical solutions to help with all their challenges.

As an Account Manager, you will be providing a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical delivery systems. You will take ownership of teams and sites and ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner while supporting our customer's needs.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

 

  • Completing assignments in as safe and professional manner
  • Responsible for (and accountable to) your customers within your geographic area
  • Working closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within an assigned territory
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives
  • Generate and execute sales plans in an assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
  • Providing technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required
  • Engaging in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
  • Actively sell and support Baker Hughes innovations and technology inclusive of the upstream chemical program at assigned customer location to promote long term business
  • Possible travel within assigned sales territory
  • Have a thorough knowledge regarding all of your treatment programs in the field

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

 

  • Have a Post Secondary education in a technical or engineering field
  • Have 3 plus years oil and gas experience - field based
  • Be able to present to upper management, colleagues, and clients
  • Have the ability to manager time and complete work on schedule
  • Must be able to work a flexible rotation work schedule independently
