Cyber Analyst/Penetration Testing

We are seeking talented Cyber Security Analysts at mid-level and above. The focus of the roles will be for penetration testing to assess security for Operational Technology (OT) systems (ICS, SCADA, PLC, etc.), and/or Information Technology (IT) systems (network, cloud, infrastructure, web and mobile applications) and identify vulnerabilities using a variety of tools and standards, including NIST, CSF, ISA/IEC, and others. You will report results and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders and assist in remediation strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.

Job Duties

  • Stays abreast of the latest IT or OT security vulnerabilities, threats, exploits, trends and intelligence
  • Performs vulnerability management, security configuration assessments, and/or penetration testing operations and manages the resulting findings for OT and IT networks for cybersecurity, risk management, and/or compliance purposes
  • Identify and diagnose operational issues and implement design alterations to address issues
  • Monitors internal and external networks, systems, and applications for security anomalies and events (e.g. suspicious behavior, attacks, and security breaches)
  • Resolves technical issues, analyze implications to the business, and communicate them to stakeholders within the business
  • Uses a wide array of tools and experience (e.g. forensics, networking, servers, coding, etc.) to determine a malicious actor's tactics, techniques and procedures.
  • Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that originate from business processes and ensures such risks are mitigated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or commensurate work experience
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in industrial or maritime cybersecurity
  • Advanced knowledge of security principles and cybersecurity technologies as well as industry-recognized certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GICSP, CEH, CET, ITIL, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security engineering principles, multiple assessment methodologies and tools, and security implementation/validation
  • Good understanding of the capabilities and configuration of cybersecurity products, controls, standards and policies
  • Expertise with current and legacy computer network and telecommunication systems
  • Possession of Applicable industry certifications
  • Knowledge of common tools and products in the OT / ICS / SCADA cybersecurity industry

Candidates can be located along the Texas or Louisiana Gulf Coast.
