Overview / Responsibilities

Within our Building Service Department, Wood Milan is looking for a Senior Technical (Black) Utilities Engineer who will have the following responsibilities:

 

 

  • Technical Utilities design (Steam and hot water generation, chilled water system, Compressed air generation, water systems...)
  • Fire fighting design support
  • Possibility to support construction activities

 


Skills / Qualifications

 

 

 

 

  • Degree in mechanical engineering
  • With at least 5/7 years of experience in the Technical utilities design of industrial projects of medium and large dimensions. Knowledge of technical utilities design in pharmaceutical plants is an added value
  • Solid understanding of technical equipment, Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Refrigeration Systems, Waste Systems, and other utilities
  • Knowledge of design problem and issues related to fire protection system
  • Knowledge of EU directives, e.g. PED, MD and ATEX
  • Knowledge in HVAC design plant would be an advantage
  • Fluent Italian and English languages
