To own the project control activity globally and drive consistent functional specifications and common global processes for projects implementation. Activities that are conducted to better understand or ultimately meet the expectations of the customer. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.

As a Composite Pipe Design Engineer Manufacturing and Materials, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing deep technical expertise and developing complicated technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, economics, etc.) as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the commercial team
  • Possessing a deep understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value that aid winning bid strategies. Including 'ITO': Technical analysis of client need: definition and optimization of the products; scope (description); schedule; industrial scheme; cost, considering contract and internal policies and procedures
  • Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Documentation of technical specifications & costing elements for further contract execution phases. This also includes OTR part where engineers work on customizing the products and implementing it for specific customer needs
  • Developing new solutions alone and/or guide others in a team setting
  • Working together with business leadership at SPB and EB level. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done. Uses results of research and knowledge to guide path forward
  • Delivering products as part of a team. Works on cross functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED)
  • Have 15+ years of experience in Engineering/Technology
  • Have 5+ additional years of experience in Composite Pipe Engineering and Design
