Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Technology Process Engineer to strengthen our Hydrogen / Syngas Center of Expertise team in Milan
  • Establishing a process design basis, developing process options, and optimization of selected design
  • Carry out process engineering design activities, following Client and Wood standards and procedures
  • Remain up to date with the latest technical developments in field of know-how and expertise
  • Demonstrate, provide, and develop appropriate technical solutions for specific project issues
  • Support internal technical developments and develop improvement activity
  • Ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targets using technical knowledge and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate appreciation of commercial and technical risks, managing these appropriately within own work


Skills / Qualifications

  • Engineering degree is essential, Chemical engineering degree preferred
  • Customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives
  • Strong background, and proven process engineering design experience in Hydrogen / Syngas value chain; essential inquisitive approach and learning agility
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar jobs
  • A self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational awareness
  • Passionate about and aptitude for mentoring, training and sharing experiences with the other engineers of the team
  • Creative and innovative in finding solutions
  • Ability to impact and influence cross-discipline team members
  • Tenacious, persistent, and focused on delivery of high-quality outcomes
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed
  • Fluent English essential. Knowledge of other languages if preferred
