Shape financial planning strategy

Based in Jandira, the role provides key financial reporting and analysis to the project execution team and other stakeholders (including the Project Finance Manager, Project Director and the Senior leadership team) to maintain a cost focus and maximise project financial performance.

As the Project Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:
  • Projecting cost control for a portfolio of projects. Managing the impact of change orders and identifying and reporting changes in expected cost for project scope
  • Monitoring Quarterly forecasting of spend profile across projects, reflecting project execution in line with the project plan
  • Monitoring Quarterly Project Cost Review (PCR) to validate total project cost to wider SPS management team
  • Assisting in the closure of multiple legal entities at quarter end as required by your project portfolio. Management of cost budgets within Oracle ERP
  • Reporting of any quarterly volume variance through to SPS QM
  • Supporting the SPS cash collection effort by maintaining project focus on timely achievement of project cash milestones


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or engineering
  • Have relevant finance experience, with progressing responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to EHS, integrity and compliance priorities
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including English language proficiency. Communicate clearly and professionally with finance and non-finance professionals within the organisation
  • Be an effective team player. Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and attention to detail. Responsive and resilient to support evolving business demands in a dynamic operating environment
