Our Human Capital & Technology Team provides HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise, other general HR activities. Our team partners with the business to provide reporting insight and to continuously improve our processes and performance.

As a HR Solutions Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning and/or managing aspects of employee relations and HR strategy execution.
  • Advising employees, people leaders of the HR function regarding approaches, processes and procedures to solve complex issues in a timely fashion.
  • Having the ability to adjust communication/Influence style to effectively communicate with employees at various levels from hourly manufacturing to senior business executive to solve complex HR issues collaboratively. Delivers timely, high quality and impactful employee communications focused on educating, motivating and engaging employees across the business
  • Coaching and guide leaders and management.
  • Supporting the application of fair, compliant and consistent decisions that advance the values and business results across the enterprise
  • Leading/Participating in employee relations investigations; ensure documentation is legally sound, compliant and properly archived to support future actions (if needed).
  • Mitigating legal risk to the organization through proactive coaching, training and education, clear systems and processes for managing conflicts with and between employees, handling and investigating complaints of harassment/discrimination and other unjust practice allegations
  • Leading the effective and efficient administration of the performance management process, making sure that the organization's managers are equipped to engage in constructive feedback and coaching, encourages staff to engagingly participate in identifying and addressing performance gaps in a legally compliant manner.
  • Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects.
  • Coordinating several projects and deliverables to deadline
  • Using financial acumen and analytical skills to provide insights and make decisions in support of the project completion and collaborate effectively with cross functional key stakeholders, including the HR business partnership team
  • Collaborating on managing employment cost while making market based compensation decisions that are aligned with objectives and budgets
  • Steering increased productivity and compliance through process improvements, standardization, and simplification within assigned area(s)
  • Exhibiting sound HR judgment with respect to integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
  • Shaping accountability for team development, performance coaching, engagement and empowerment to people leaders in support of culture shaping in line with Baker Hughes core values. Effectively facilitate New Manager Assimilations sessions to shape organizational efficiency and efficacy

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Have a relevant PHR certification /or CaPHR HRCI.
  • Be proficient in current company-specific HR systems used (Workday, SAP, DocuSign, Neocase)
  • Have strong union expertise.
  • Be willing to learn from experience, and subsequently apply that learning to perform successfully under new or first-time conditions
  • Can be counted on to deliver on what is required to advance the company; takes ownership of work from start to 100% finished, brings others along with focused intensity
  • Prioritizes actions and decisions that move the company forward without hesitation around moments of uncomfortableness; laser focused on the tasks at hand that makes any conflict that could get in the way of that an afterthought

  • Have good oral and written communication skills
  • Have compelling interpersonal and leadership skills; Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
