Our client, a large oil and gas company, is currently seeking a Air/Emissions Business Analyst for a 1-year contract in Calgary, AB.

Role Description:
• Has experience in the EH&S space, preferably in Air Emissions
• Has experience implementing Air Emissions solutions, preferably Enablon
• Works closely with and focuses business analysis / SME's to ensure the right business problem is solved, any gaps in requirements or testing are identified and addressed
• Creates and aligns the project goals / vision, roadmap and release plan to accomplish the goal(s) of the project
• Ensures user stories are "ready" for development / configuration to start work, and align to the business requirements
• Ensures each user story has the correct acceptance criteria
• Gathers, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog in consultation with the project team
• Ensures close collaboration with the development / implementation teams (internal and external)
• Defines Air Emissions needs and the associated features to meet those needs
• Advocates on behalf of all stakeholders for the development teams
• Contributes to the work of the Project Manager as they define and track progress towards the release of the solution / product
• Supports the Product Manager in defining the operational requirements and through the transition into operations
• Prioritizes defect or bug resolution in collaboration with the Project Manager and project team
• Leads all testing activities, and ensures the overall quality of the solution / product
• Works with the Organizational Change Management Lead to identify impacts, training needs, readiness etc.
• Supports training content development
