The Film Sales Manager - DACH & Nordic Region, is responsible for the development and execution of sales of the Company's Film Products portfolio. The objective is to achieve targeted sales levels and profit objectives from a defined business territory in accordance with the Regional Business Plan. The territory is the DACH region of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic countries of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The customer base is a mix of company direct accounts and Channel Partners.

As a Film Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Develop and implement a sales plan for assigned products within a defined geographic territory aimed at achieving and exceeding sales turnover and financial return within the most cost-effective route and period
  • Target new business accounts and opportunities as well as existing customers
  • Actively manage the relationship with existing and prospective customers to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Maintain a high level of technical and commercial competency on relevant products, techniques and applications
  • Accurately forecast sales and growth opportunities within the designated territory using sales tools and applications
  • Prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts, to ensure a constant flow of information between customers, opportunities and the Company
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor activities and developments and ensure this information is collected and made available to leadership
  • Ensure profitability and alignment with pricing guidelines
  • Work closely with Channel Partners in the assigned territory to maintain product engagement, sales commitments and compliance with the company's business operational standards
  • Close collaboration with internal Product Management, Supply Chain and Service Teams

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have completed studies in an engineering or other technical related discipline and demonstrate relevant industry experience
  • Have commercial experience in either film sales or other NDT related products. A proven track-record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and a desire to grow new business
  • Have excellent sales skills, with the ability to teach, train and inspire others
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident presenting to a wide range of audiences
  • Be a natural, proactive communicator with good negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate your passion for building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders from all levels of the organization
  • Have experience providing innovative, adaptive technical solutions and support to customers
  • Be able to travel within the territory (up to 50% travel required)
  • Be fluent in oral and written English and German
